Ponderances, Inanities, and other Nonsense
Global Warming
So, if you haven’t heard, I’ll bring you up to speed: Global warming is regarded as a hoax.
Some 94% of the Carbon dioxide produced every year is produced naturally: chiefly through plant/animal decay and volcanoes. The heat of the past three decades was just a naturally occurring trend. Weird things happen…like the mini-Ice Age of the 18th century…or course they didn’t attribute it to man’s industry but rather their sins…a simpler time.
Al Gore won a Nobel Prize for his efforts with “An Inconvenient Truth,” a documentary about global warming. His solution: buy carbon offsets to purge your sins against Mother Nature and to discourage the production of carbon dioxide. Only the money for the carbon offsets was pocketed by him, which obviously he didn’t spend on his mansion to make it more Green, until someone blew the whistle on him. It was all perfectly legit. And he got the Nobel Prize.
I do like the fact that people are a little more eco-friendly, though.
Just so everyone knows: I’ve talked to several people who weren’t aware.

Spoken like a true gentleman. We started recycling last January as a resolution. It stuck. We barely fill our weekly garbage bin anymore. We live in an area where it is completely voluntary to recycle & actually have to carry it to the lift-station ourselves.
The ‘City’ here does not offer to pick it up.
Our community here averages 300 Tons of recycling a month! We are happy to keep from putting so much disposable junk into the Earth. No one ever discusses how selling good designed to last more than a year e.g. Microwave ovens, LCD monitors, automatic coffee makers, DVD players, etc, there would be fewer of them hitting the landfills. This theory should apply with all devices sold across the Nation.
Great post, Bryan. Oh, Al Gore and Co. would tax the air you exhale if they could get it through congress. But who needs congress when we can allow the UN to push this agenda, right?
