Not me…Wes. I have to say, he had his shit together. It only took about an hour-and-a-half to load up all his stuff. We’ll see how the unload goes.

Well, I liked this new blog so much I decided to displace my other one and just get rid of it altogether. I compromised and kept the name.
It will probably cause me to hand-change my RSS feed, but that will be fine.
Nothing else new. See you on the flip side.

Uma Thurman or Cameron Diaz?
Cameron Diaz made “There’s Something About Mary” where she was pretty cool. In “Mask,” she was babelicious. “Charlie’s Angels Full Throttle” blew chunks.
Uma…”Pulp Fiction” she was pretty dern cool. I will have to go with Uma.

Why do we pronounce Wednesday as “Winsday”? I mean, if you say Wednesday fast, it sounds like Winsday somewhat, but you can still tell the difference. Did we all just miss the boat in Grammar School? I checked Webster’s and it seems we pronounce it right. Anyway, it is just a screwed up word.
Main Entry: Wednes·day
Pronunciation: ‘wenz-dE, -(“)dA; British also ‘we-d&nz-
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English, from Old English wOdnesdæg (akin to Old Norse Othinsdagr Wednesday); akin to Old English WOden Odin and dæg day
: the fourth day of the week
- Wednes·days /-dEz, -(“)dAz/ adverb
I really am sort of surprised that we still use some of these days of the week. I guess most of them come from Norse. (If they put Norse in Morse Code, is it Norse Code?)
Separation of church and state doesn’t apply to pagan gods.

I saw a couple of links claiming the beheading or Nicholas Berg is a hoax citing several reasons; however, one of the reasons is the white chair he is sitting in is similar to the ones at Abu Ghraib Prison. Well, that may or may not be Government Issue, but they are a staple in the Southern U.S. They are practically issued. They are cheap and can be found at any Walmart. Not exactly a smoking gun.
The orange jumpsuit is the same as the prisoners in Guatanamo Bay, Cuba? Well, I haven’t seen a prisoner in a black-and-white striped jumpsuit in some time. Maybe they bought it on E-bay.
I’ll acquiesce and say that the lack of blood spurting from his carotid arteries during decapitation seems a bit odd. You can have that one.

I definitely don’t have the patience to create something like this from scratch, but I figure this will give me a place to work up a newer, faster, stronger blog until I get it the way I want it and rid myself of the blogger.
Of course, I will have to make it my own. It will be much less like a doctor’s office when I am done. But this code works like a champ!
This already allows comments without having to be a member of the blogger community. Thanks, Leroy, for helping me set up the database and getting this thing going!
